2. Personal data we process

• Identity and contact: name, company name, phone number, e-mail address.
• Request details: what you write in our contact and quote forms, WhatsApp or e-mail messages (product, size, quantity, delivery date and city), and any logo, artwork or files you send.
• Customer transaction data: quote, order, invoice and delivery details (if you place an order).
• Security and usage data: IP address, browser and device information, pages visited and cookie data (see our Cookie Policy).

3. Purposes

• Answering your quote and information requests and contacting you,
• Carrying out order, production, proof approval and delivery processes,
• Issuing invoices and meeting our legal obligations (tax and commercial law),
• Keeping the website secure and blocking spam form submissions,
• With your consent, measuring website use and evaluating our advertising.

4. Legal grounds

We process your data on the grounds in Article 5(2) KVKK: it is directly related to entering into or performing a contract (c), it is necessary to comply with our legal obligations (ç), to establish, exercise or protect a right (e), and for our legitimate interests provided your fundamental rights are not harmed (f). Non-essential statistics and marketing cookies are used only with your explicit consent (Art. 5(1)) given in the cookie banner, which you can withdraw at any time.

5. How we collect data

Through the contact and quote forms on our website, WhatsApp or e-mail messages you start from the quote list or the dimension quote form, phone calls and cookies — partly by automated and partly by non-automated means. Your quote list is stored only in your own browser and is not sent to us unless you send it.

6. Transfers

Limited to the purposes above, your data may be shared with our website hosting and e-mail providers, shipping and logistics companies, our accountants, and competent public authorities when legally required.

Some services used on our website (Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Maps, Google Fonts and, if you choose it, WhatsApp) have servers outside Türkiye. Data transferred to these services through cookies and similar technologies is transferred in line with Article 9 KVKK on the basis of your cookie choices (explicit consent). If you choose to message us on WhatsApp, your message is subject to WhatsApp’s terms.

7. Retention

We keep personal data for as long as the purpose requires and for the periods set by law (for example 10 years for commercial books and records under the Turkish Commercial Code and Tax Procedure Law). Quote requests that do not lead to an order are deleted, destroyed or anonymised after a reasonable period.

8. Your rights (Art. 11 KVKK)

• To learn whether your personal data is processed and to request information about it,
• To learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used accordingly,
• To know the third parties in Türkiye or abroad to whom it is transferred,
• To request correction of incomplete or inaccurate data, and deletion or destruction under Article 7 KVKK, and to have these actions notified to third parties,
• To object to a result against you arising exclusively from automated analysis,
• To claim compensation for damage caused by unlawful processing.

You can send your request in writing to our address above, together with information that identifies you, or by e-mail to info@balabanmatbaa.com from the e-mail address registered with us. We respond free of charge within 30 days at the latest; if the request requires an additional cost, the fee set by the Personal Data Protection Board may be charged.
